This is the fi­rst year of the BBA Course. The most practical level of the course, this level introduces students to the concept and practice of hospitality. Students are expected to acquire lifelong practice skills in major areas of the industry to act as a guide and resource for future study.

Requirements for Admission:

  1. Minimum of 17 years old
  2. High School Certificate/Matura/Abitur or equivalent
  3. Proficiency in English – TOEFL, IELTS or equivalent (only for students from non-english speaking countries)

Programme content:

Each year 6 months theory and 6 months paid industry training

  • - Principles of Food Production
  • - Managing Beverage Service
  • - Planning & Control for F & B Operations
  • - Food & Beverage Service
  • - Housekeeping Management
  • - Front Office Operations
  • - German Language & Culture

 

Academic Goals:

  • - The Students get familiar with Service and Housekeeping in a Restaurant or Hotel.
  • - The Students get familiar with Front Office.
  • - The Students can speak some German.

Course Fee (for one year):

  1. International Students: 21'000 CHF (All-Inclusive Fee)
  2. US and EU/EFTA Students: 12'000 CHF (All-Inclusive Fee)
  3. Swiss Students or holder of a C permit: 8'000 CHF  (Only Tuition Fee)
